The Victoria Point clubhouse was full of life again today, with members gathering for another enjoyable session of radio talk, technical projects, and great company. The atmosphere throughout the morning was relaxed, friendly, and full of enthusiasm as conversations and demonstrations unfolded across the room.
There was plenty happening for members and visitors alike. From traditional radio interests through to emerging technologies, the clubhouse is our very own meeting place for sharing ideas, learning new skills, and catching up with fellow enthusiasts:-
Phil VK4PG spent some time discussing his latest robotics activities and also spoke about upcoming antenna projects he is planning for his station. Across the room, John Paul VK4JPW had 3D printing and CAD design on display, drawing attention from members interested in modern design and fabrication techniques.
At the same time, Mark VK4XYA was introducing President Martin to some of the latest developments in P25 radio technology, sparking plenty of technical discussion and curiosity.
It was also wonderful to once again welcome Laurie VK4LO to the clubhouse. During his visit, Laurie generously donated a quantity of radio equipment to the club, a contribution that was warmly appreciated by all.
Adding to the enjoyment of the morning were the ever-popular egg and bacon rolls, freshly prepared on the club BBQ outside the building. As always, they proved to be a favourite gathering point for members to relax, chat, and enjoy the social side of the hobby.

Saturday mornings at the clubhouse continue to showcase what makes our club special — friendship, shared knowledge, and a genuine passion for amateur radio and technology. We look forward to seeing even more members join us at the next gathering.
The next Bacon & Egg Roll Saturday is not far off! If you missed this one, make sure you don’t miss the next. Every Saturday offers new experiences, knowledge sharing, and community spirit. Whether you’re a regular or a curious newcomer, you’re always welcome.
