It’s almost time for our next BDARS General Meeting, and we’d love to see you there! Whether you’re a long-time member, a newer face, or simply curious about what the club gets up to, come along for an evening of radio, projects, ideas and good company

An important meeting
We’ll be voting on the proposed BDARS Constitution motions, so this is an especially important meeting for members to attend and have their say.
As well as discussing the outcomes of the September Committee meeting and other business, we have some other special items on the agenda:-
- The great result from our recent Bunnings fundraising BBQ and the finances and plans.
- Ian, VK4YIP is going to bring along his almost-completed Winterhill DATV receiver
- John, VK4JBE may be running one of his popular “Did You Know?” sessions, this time exploring USB OTG modes — or perhaps he has another surprise topic in store!
- JOTA/JOTI is coming up soon. The Scouts and Guides annual event is an important part of the local calendar, and BDARS traditionally helps out at the local camps. Interested in getting involved? Come along and find out how you can help.
Bring along your project!
Have you been working on something interesting? Built a new antenna, restored some gear, written some software, experimented with digital modes, or simply discovered something cool?
Bring it along for our Show ’n’ Tell ! You’ll have a few minutes to share what you’ve been working on — no matter how big or small the project.
Everyone is welcome to contribute. You don’t need to be an expert or have a polished presentation; we’re all here to learn from and encourage each other.
After the meeting, stick around for some gold coin coffee, a good old-fashioned chinwag, and a chance to catch up with fellow members.
