A great night at BDARS last night, with WIA director Peter VK4EA addressing the group.
Peter talked about the great work that WIA does in representing all Australian radio amateurs, whether members or not.
In particular, Peter highlighted the work done by WIA volunteers in defending our spectrum allocations. WIA (like BDARS) relies heavily on its team of volunteers.
The WIA publication “Amateur Radio” is always readable and full of good articles.
After Peter’s session, our members enjoyed coffee and snacks, catching up with colleagues.
