The club’s next General Meeting is at the Redlands Coast Museum on Monday 5th May, with a 6:45PM arrival for a 7:00PM start. All members and visitors are welcome.
As with previous meetings, this session will feature several key agenda items that are important for all members to be aware of. Attendees can expect updates on critical projects, particularly regarding our museum initiatives, as well as ongoing activities and developments within the club.
A report will be provided on the recent Bunnings BBQ fundraiser held on the 13th April and an open discussion about and how we can continue to raise funds using this very beneficial source of income is tabled.
Also on the agenda is a discussion about the ACMA assist system and how it can be used to check you licence online. This will be followed by a review of the new ACMA system and processes – so will all know how to keep hold of our licences!
Additionally, we will be addressing the current state of repairs at our facilities located on Mt Cotton following the cyclone. This is a crucial update for members who are invested in the club’s infrastructure and its long-term sustainability.
As always, we will also be hosting our regular “Instant Celebrity” segment, a highlight of our meetings where members have the chance to showcase their latest ham-related projects. Whether you wish to bring along a physical demonstration or simply share insights about your recent work, this is the perfect opportunity to engage with fellow enthusiasts.
If you are planning a longer or more detailed presentation, please reach out to Martin in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
General meetings are always a good place to catch-up on club activities, hear about the future plans for the club, and of course share the gold coin coffee and chinwag afterwards.
