The club’s next General Meeting is at the Redland Museum on Monday 3rd February, with a 7:00PM arrival for a 7:30PM start. All members and visitors are welcome.
At the meeting you can hear the latest club news about the progression of the our museum and clubhouse projects – and of course the general business. We also hope to have a short Amateur Radio topic for your attention (volunteers needed to talk please).
It’s coming around to the AGM time. This is where all the BDARS management committee retire and the club invites eligible members to nominate for an active committee role in helping to run the club for the next 12 months. Nominations need to be in writing and signed by a proposer and seconder. There is a deadline for nominations – more details can be found in our constitution.
If you are thinking you might be able to help the club, why not have a word with one of the existing or past committee members to find out more?
We would also still welcome volunteers specifically interested in assisting/running or helping to improve the video/audio streaming of the meetings: please email Martin, secretary@bdars.org.au
General meetings are always a good place to catch-up on club activities, hear about the future plans for the club, and of course share the gold coin coffee and chinwag afterwards.
