The FT-101ZD was a classic hybrid radio produced by Yaesu in the late 70’s. Many hams know the FT-101 range for its very good reputation for performance and durability.
This radio has been briefly tested and performs well on the 20m band. While the exterior shows many signs of use, with several scratches on the case, the front panel remains in good shape. Despite the cosmetic wear, the radio functions impressively and exceeds expectations based on the casing appearance alone.
Extensive testing has not been performed, but we have run through the checklist below:-

The unit is in clean condition. Unfortunately it does not have a microphone. It does have the optional fan fitted.
The unit is sold as a second-hand item and is ‘sold as seen’ without guarantee of performance, warranty or of meeting any particular specification. Inspection of the unit can undertaken at BDARS clubhouse in Victoria Point, 4165, Queensland. The unit weighs about 15KG.

Kenwood TS530S HF Transceiver

The Kenwood TS530S gained popularity among amateur radio operators in the 1980s for its affordability, solid performance, and classic feel during a time of transition from tubes to full solid-state designs. Its hybrid operation gave it durability and its rugged build made it reliable and serviceable.
Excellent CW and SSB performance: Especially appreciated by amateur radio operators for its clean audio and stable operation.
The original spec for the TS-530S (American version shown below):-
This radio has been successfully used for brief testing and performed well. The appearance and condition of the exterior is in particularly excellent condition.
