The FT-101ZD was a classic hybrid radio produced by Yaesu in the late 70’s. Many hams know the FT-101 range for its very good reputation for performance and durability.
This radio has been briefly tested and performs well on the 20m band. While the exterior shows many signs of use, with several scratches on the case, the front panel remains in good shape. Despite the cosmetic wear, the radio functions impressively and exceeds expectations based on the casing appearance alone.
Extensive testing has not been performed, but we have run through the checklist below:-

The unit is in clean condition. Unfortunately it does not have a microphone. It does have the optional fan fitted.
The unit is sold as a second-hand item and is ‘sold as seen’ without guarantee of performance, warranty or of meeting any particular specification. Inspection of the unit can undertaken at BDARS clubhouse in Victoria Point, 4165, Queensland. The unit weighs about 15KG.
The asking price does not include other items shown in the images or the cost of postage and packing – this will be added at cost price to the final amount of the sale. Buyer pickup preferred.
