The club’s next General Meeting is at the Redlands Coast Museum on Monday 1st September, with a 7:00PM arrival for a 7:30PM start. All members and visitors are welcome.
At the meeting you can hear the latest club news about the progression of the our museum and clubhouse projects – and of course the general business.
If you joined us for the last TechNight, you might recall the term EMR—short for Electromagnetic Radiation—also referred to as EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) or EME (Electromagnetic Emissions).
Whether you attended or not, you’re in for a treat! Vice-President John will be hosting a lively and interactive quiz on this crucial topic for radio amateurs. It’s a fantastic opportunity to brush up on your knowledge if you missed the last session—or to test your memory if you did participate!
This time, we’re mixing things up: the quiz will be team-based, so bring your brains and your sense of fun. It’s all about learning, sharing, and enjoying the evening together.
As always, General meetings are the best place to catch-up on club activities, hear about the future plans for the club, and of course share the gold coin coffee and chinwag afterwards.
Love Tech? Help Us Level Up Our Streaming!
As remote participation grows, we’re looking to improve the quality of our video and audio setup—and we’d love your help! If you have an interest in AV tech, streaming, or just want to learn and lend a hand, we’re looking for volunteers to help run, support, or enhance the way we broadcast our meetings. It’s a great way to get involved, pick up some new skills, and help the club stay current with modern tech.
