The Yaesu FT-840 HF transceiver, introduced in the mid-1990s, became a highly regarded model in the amateur radio community for its robust performance and excellent feature set at an affordable price point. Operating across all HF bands (160m through 10m), it delivers up to 100 watts of power output, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The radio has not been fully tested. It powers-up and Rx and TX appear to be functional (not all bands tried). The radio also comes with a hand microphone (shown).
