Yes, the International Lighthouse & Lightship event is on this weekend.
BDARS will be operating a club event at Cleveland Point lighthouse and as much participation as possible from club members is welcomed.
Schedule:
– Pickup time at the Museum 0700
– Event start time at the Lighthouse 1000
– Operating bands 40m & 20m, with SSB
– Pull down probably around 1700
Please come along sometime during the day. If you can have a go at operating that would be a bonus and as this is not a contest, the pressure is very low.
The usual refreshments would also be welcome, so if you have a portable BBQ and some sausages, that’d go down well!
